My name is Joel Maldonado. I am a graphic designer who began developing my skills during the pandemic era, and over the past couple of years I have steadily improved and refined my craft through regular practice and deliberate study. To prepare for this career path, I have taken several concrete steps throughout my journey after the pandemic, continuously learning, experimenting with new techniques, and adapting to emerging tools and workflows. I have been focused on improving myself and becoming proficient with AI-driven design tools as they become an important and increasingly influential part of the field. I love graphic design: what started as an idea and a creative thought process has grown into a real, practical passion, and even as the world faces challenges and uncertainties I remain committed to designing, creating, and contributing meaningful work.
